At Nalukai, young people unearth their passions as they partner with consulting mentors from a range of industries and strive to meet local and global challenges through exposure to hands-on/real-life experience and product creation. Distinguished by the value we place on cultural grounding, our program and the student experience inspires entrepreneurial ventures that are rooted in reverence for the unique traditions and values of Hawai’i, its history, and its people.  

With thanks to the inspired vision of a small group of innovators and philanthropists who share a passion for education and the young people of Hawai‘i, Nalukai Academy was founded in 2016. Now having hosted annual entrepreneurship and leadership fellowship programs on the Big Island of Hawai’i in each of the last six years. Nalukai’s Startup Camp has demonstrated the power of assembling dynamic high school students from across the state of Hawai‘i to cultivate entrepreneurship, leadership, and creativity, in order to amplify their ambitions and accelerate their professional achievements.

Nalukai Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered with the IRS and Hawaiʻi Department of the Attorney General, Tax & Charities Division.
